IAPF (International Anti-Poaching Foundation)

Hi, me again…I’d like to share with you now the second charity that I am so proud to be able to sponsor.

These guys are also my heroes and the story begins with Damien
ex-military (including Iraq) Mander (founder and CEO of IAPF) who, after witnessing the widespread poaching of endangered animals and environmental destruction in Africa, invested his life savings - including the sale all investment properties - to fund the start up and running costs of the IAPF.

In 2010, Damien’s long-time best mate, former soldier Steven Dean, sold up all his assets, donated the proceeds to the IAPF and moved to Africa to help with the struggle.

Africa is now the frontline for Damien and Steve….literally. The current government provides no protective legislation for Africa’s wildlife nor does it provide resources to combat poaching. As a result, illegal trafficking ranks as the 3rd largest criminal industry in the world. Only through training, equipping and educating those on the frontline and affected communities can the IAPF decelerate poaching until governments intervene with more resources, alternative funding methods and tougher regulations and penalties for poachers.

That’s why 10% of monies received from commercial sales and from the stockroom on my website (being installed as I am typing this) will be donated to the IAPF

Thanks for reading….♥

Soi Dog Foundation

Hi all,

I want to share with you one of two charities that I am so proud to be able to sponsor.

The first is the Soi Dog Foundation, a not-for-profit, legally registered charitable organization in Thailand, the United States, Australia, the UK, France and Holland. Soi Dog helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand. There aim is to set an example for the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through spaying and neutering, and to better the lives and living conditions of the stray dogs and feral cats of Asia. First established by US citizen Margot Homburg Park in 2003, Soi Dog Foundation is now run by UK couple John and Gill Dalley and their growing family of local, national and international volunteers. The love, tragedy and absolute incredible feats of heroism and compassion have to be seen to be believed.

These guys are my heroes. That’s why in addition to my own personal contributions, 10% of monies received from art awards, prizes and sales at a local, national international level are donated to the Soi Dog Foundation.

Thanks for reading. ♥
